Wines

We strive to create elegant, balanced wines that let the vineyard and vintage shine. Our philosophy requires that the wine pair naturally with food, but also be able to stand on its own whenever the occasion requires. Our ultimate goal is to produce distinctive, soulful, and delicious vineyard-designated wines.

We work exclusively with vineyards that are exceptionally suited to the varietals we make. We monitor each site in meticulous detail, and pick only when flavors, sugars and acid levels have achieved an optimal balance. We then use gentle winemaking techniques to develop the inherent characteristics of each site with minimal intervention.

State-of-the-art sorting tables and customized de-stemming equipment remove extraneous components of the clusters, and leave us with perfect whole berries and minimal jacks. We punch down by hand during the fermentation process to keep the berries intact, and use gravity flow to fill our barrels. Each lot of red wine is consciously matched to an appropriate French oak forest and level of toast. We do not release any wine before its time, and hold them as long as is necessary for each wine to achieve its finished state.
