2023: Looking back, and forward…

As we begin 2023, we are as equally excited for what is to come as we are for how 2022 went for Joseph Jewell!

2022 was, in many ways, our return to normalcy post-COVID. In February, we were thrilled to reopen our Vineyard Tours after the gloomy winter months and were soon met with glorious Summer-like weather. We hosted an Art & Wine event featuring local artist Michelle Carnes in April, which was well-attended and thoroughly enjoyed by many of you!

As we rounded the corner to Summer, Master Somm Evan Goldstein held a panel of 20 winemakers at the annual Russian River Valley Pinot Forum featuring our winemaker, Adrian Manspeaker, as one of the vintners who spoke. Later, in August, we hosted our first Vineyard Dinner in three years at the Starscape Vineyard, welcoming nearly 40 wine club members and community friends. A very special thank you to the folks who traveled out to Forestville for this event! And in September we hosted our first Pickup Party in 2 years and saw an exciting amount of club members come out to clink glasses with us and pick up their Fall shipments. Please consider joining us again this year!

In closing, following the harvesting of our vineyards last Fall, we launched the first allocation of our Jewell Wines label, featuring a new website and exclusive membership opportunities for Joseph Jewell Wine Club Members.

To finish the year off in style, we opened our library to feature our most extensive library and magnum tasting and offering to date. Those who participated received access to wines up to 10 years old!

With another excellent year in the rearview mirror, we are now looking forward to 2023 and the calendar of events we have waiting for you at Joseph Jewell!

To kick off the year, we will be hosting an Art & Wine Event with Michelle Carnes, Friday, February 17th from 4-7pm in the Forestville Tasting Room.
